Title: Modified Pulley Spacer Post by Armen on 01/10/22 at 12:28:47 So, this is for the Drag Bike Mike developed rear pulley dewobbleization fix. Basically, you remove the rear wheel and the puller carrier, remove the left side seal and the OEM single row bearing, and install a double row bearing (which you've sourced from wherever you want to). And install this incredibly trick modified left side spacer. When it's all over, you'll have the most wobble resistant rear pulley you can imagine! Just send me $30 for the spacer and shipping, and send back your original one when you get the modified one. If you use Paypal, make sure you send it as money to a friend, or they take a bite. Title: Re: Modified Pulley Spacer Post by Jdvt600 on 01/10/22 at 12:36:26 Armen, You still have to heat the carrier for this one correct? |
Title: Re: Modified Pulley Spacer Post by Armen on 01/10/22 at 12:39:00 Heating makes it a lot easier. I always cringe when I see someone bludgeoning a bearing in or out cold. Much potential to loosen up the fit. |
Title: Re: Modified Pulley Spacer Post by edgwoodri on 01/15/22 at 10:59:30 Can you make me one? My bike is getting new (used ) 18" wheels, new tank, new seat, and modified Cam chain tensioner. might as well do it all. Anyone recognize what this tank comes from? |
Title: Re: Modified Pulley Spacer Post by edgwoodri on 01/15/22 at 11:09:34 Basic early mock-up |
Title: Re: Modified Pulley Spacer Post by Dave on 01/15/22 at 11:56:50 That tank is likely GT380/GT550. |

Title: Re: Modified Pulley Spacer Post by TBR125 on 01/17/22 at 12:51:06 That's the color scheme used on the 1972 GT550. Wish those tanks were still cheap. |
Title: Re: Modified Pulley Spacer Post by Dan P on 01/22/22 at 08:24:06 Armen, Where do you source the double sized bearing ? Is there a part number for it ? Thank you |
Title: Re: Modified Pulley Spacer Post by Armen on 01/22/22 at 08:31:13 IIRC, 5305-2RS EBay is as good as anyplace, unless you have a good bearing supplier. |
