I am selling my bike located in central NJ, I haven't used it since COVID started and have lost the passion for riding. It's a 2007 with 16k miles, clean title, I am the 2nd owner, I bought in 2011 with about 9k miles. Mostly stock, I added a luggage rack and white hard-shell lockable saddlebags. Rear turn signals are non stock. Cosmetic condition is fair to good - it needs a wash! :-) It needs at least moderate mechanical work as noted below.

I've ridden it from US coast to coast as well as into Canada and it's been very reliable while I was actively using and maintaining it. However due to non usage since COVID is it not operational right now. It is also does not have current registration or insurance.

It started when I last used it (May 2020) and has been under a cover since. Currently, it turns over but won't start (I tried by using a jump starter, the battery is shot). I've verified the lights still work and can shift through the first few gears.

I'm not sure why it won't start, it could be something as simple as the fuel has gone stale, or the oil settled and spoiled. Or something harder to fix.

It will definitely need a new battery and fluids changed, and I would recommend new tires as well (Last changed in 2016 and have about 5k on them).

I can throw in a few bottles of oil if you want to change that yourself, as well as a heavy duty 3 foot kryptonite chain, a light duty 6 foot security cable, and a few other odds and ends - for instance I might stilll have a disc lock for it.

You would be responsible for transporting it away somehow. It is definitely not in a condition it can be ridden away.

hebeze, where is the bike in NJ. I am just otside Asbury Park. I am very interested and assume close by. IM or email me about it.
