I just heard today that one of our interpreters is stuck and who knows if he will find a way out through Kabul. From what I remember he is pretty resourceful but might have a family now to try to get out with, so who knows how things will turn out for him. |

This doesn't mean I am saying I approve what is going on, again I can not be clear enough that my assessment of historical clandestine retribution timelines from the US military is not an indication that I think the current actions are correct. I am just saying that a reliable and useful response takes more time than a few days, historically. Anything else is usually just PR, and PR isn't how you run SF operations. |
