Title: Jump-starter device Post by Aquinaz921 on 08/05/21 at 10:03:01 Does anyone ever use a portable battery jumpstarter? Like this one... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FD6Y933/?coliid=ICVJWUPFCELE0&colid=27SPLXZGJ046A&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it I've left my keys on the ignition (on switch) too often. So I've been thinking of getting one. |
Title: Re: Jump-starter device Post by Eegore on 08/05/21 at 10:23:35 I use them all the time. I see no reason that a fully-charged jump pack would not start a motorcycle, even a Savage that needs all the juice to get the thing started. The model you show has protection for reverse polarity which is a plus. |

Title: Re: Jump-starter device Post by Ruttly on 08/05/21 at 11:18:19 I use a similar jumper. When the car ship comes in there is always a bunch that need jumped to get them on or off the ship. Way lighter and more powerful than those 50lb conventional style jumpers. However I would use caution on those lithium ion batteries when jumping , READ THE INSTRUCTIONS for the battery. |
