Sorry if it's been covered or a dumb question, but, no grease needed on the rear axle?  Clymer's doesn't call for any.

I find a light wipe of Anti-Sieze to be the best.

I agree , or a few drops of gear oil

Just not dry

I wipe a small coating of grease.  Just enough to help the axle slide in, and to prevent the axle from rusting.

Thanks guys.  I've always put a light coat of grease anytime I reinstall the wheel.  Just wanted to check.
