Dr.said it was Stevens-Johnson Syndrome , and while checkking in for a hospital stay, they did a covid-19 test ... It was positive... I had no idea! :-? |

Onset timing is similar, too. Very early spring ..... I suspect we all have some amount of Covid 19 running around in each of our airways ----- it is an airborne virus for crying out loud, very similar to flu or common cold virus. You can get it from a cough micro droplet that landed on a hard surface two hours ago (ergo the hourly hand washing thing they try to get you to do). Your wife will make sure you try to take care of yourself ........ let her, she will be unhappy else-wise. I will get my second Covid shot next week, and after I get over the reactions it will bring I will then join the 10's of thousands who carry the Covid virus around in me while getting more and more careless about masks and hand washing and all that other stuff that slowed the spread earlier. :P |

My wife & and I have been participating in a Covid19 study for almost a year now. The survey always asks if I want to share the app with friends, but I always get flubbed up and can never figure out how to send the thing off on my iPad. What can I say, it's an old guy thing. The study is tracking participants trying to learn more about spread in the community, age groups, underlying conditions, etc. It takes like 30 seconds to complete the survey each day. At the on-set I started taking 50 mg of Benadryl every 6 hours , that was 6 days before I decided it was a loosing battle and went to the ER on Thursday. Come to find out the hospital gave me 50 mgs of Benadryl every 8 hours plus anti-biotics in the I V . I'm still loosing skin on my hands and face in the form of little blisters but the swelling has gone down and the deep redness has faded to just new skin red. It itches like "Wake me when its over" ! :-[ I still haven't had any Corvid 19 systems and next Tuesday when the health clinic opens up me and Marcia are both going to be tested. I'm not fully convinced I've got it . On Feb. 1st I got my first Merina vaccine and to get the second one on March 1st. Mean-while we're quarantined At lunch Saturday the Dr. came by and I got him to agree that I could dress the blisters just as well at home as I could in my hospital room. So he said come back if it starts getting worse again. I said " sounds good to me " ;). Thanks for the Prayers guys ! :) |

We have had six parts of my down-payment on my next bike pop-up in the herd in the last three weeks. There should be about 6 more parts pop out in the next month too . All them bike payments running around in the field tends to make the moma cows extra hungary. The hard part of dealing with the Steven-Johnsons stuff is dealing with the itching . I've seen pictures of other folks with it all over their body's. Its only on my hands , arms , and a little on my face. The only cure I've found so far is "Dis-traction" and Oral-Gel. I'm going through a lot of Oral-gel ! ::) ....................... OldFeller , that was fifteen years ago when I retired from work after the first round with "The Red Legg" . Time flies for sure ! I can't help but wonder if "winter depression" has anything to do with a lot of illnesses this time of year ? :-? |

I should be safe to be around by time warm weather gets here. ................... Yea Stew , I did marry well didn't I ! 8-) ........................ I never had a temp over 98.? , or had a cough , or any other symptom of the virus ... Except maybe feeling laze ... not sure I could blame that on a virus anyway ? ;D ................ If it works out for us to have a Dragon run this year , then remember my place is only 5 hours west of the Dragon itself . I've got one full bed , two twin beds , a couch , and four recliners to sleep in/on . Then there is a local country store that has the best breakfast prices that can be found . Plus There is enough back-roads here to keep us rolling for a day or two if we wanted to . |

My AF Son is coming home on leave from the middle of March till the 2th of April . By then the nights in North Ga. should be warm enough for a nice long visit . Then on toward the last of April-first of May I'd like to go visit YouzGuyz and see the Hill-Country Bloom again. I hope that staying home last year has everybody ready to jump on any ride possible this year. :) |

This unusual weather has me waiting for nearly 2 weeks now for the petcock I ordered for the Honda. Been doing a bit of riding on the S40 but it needs some wrenching also once we have a nice warm weekend. I've come to the conclusion that prefer the S40 in the slow to medium speed drives. But you just cannot beat having the extra power of the Honda when on the highway. It really doesn't matter though, I just love riding. |

JOG , I haven't had any symptoms of Covid-19 , I was at the hospital with what I thought was a rash/allergy . Turns out it was Steven's Johnson Syndrome , and I'm still dealing with it. Part of getting admitted into the Hospital involved getting a Covid test. It came back positive ! (to my surprise ). ??? You known anybody else who has dealt with it ? |

Both of them were older (mid 70's) who had other serious health problems that made them inherently weak before the Covid. |

Today I found the results : I'm still positive Marcia is Negative We've been socially distancing since the Stevens Johnson syndrome for two weeks now ... so we'll continue with the social distancing for a while ... But That just goes to show that two people in the same house can test different ??? :-? |

I'm going to my reg Dr. in the morning to see if we can make sure it don't happen again . Today , I got the SECOND VACCINATION (yey :) ) , while chatting with the nurse , she said : The Moderna Vaccine and regular Aspirin can cause Steven's Johnson Syndrome. She pulled it up on her computer for me on the spot , said she wanted to double check it so she did. Well , I did take a couple of aspirin at bed time that night so I could get sleep instead of the Old Bones keeping me awake . I'll ask the Dr. about it in the morning ??? Either way , this mess is just about behind me and I'm virus proof now. |
