Its this strange thing about USA elections.. becuse it always seems the party that win the president campain lose eighter the house or the senat!
Mayby this is a good thing, the voters vote for a president but on the other party för house or senat?
Then they all have to compromise, for the best of USA?
Could it be that USA voters are smart enough to understand this, I hope thats the conclusion?
In Swedish parliment we got 6 parties, it takes months to form a goverment, at least a half year after an election!
Its this, at least half of them are splits frome the other parties, that whant to go in there own direction, have special thoughts about special  things, frome right to the left!

It seems that what happens in American is that it appears that voter do want the Senate to exert some control over what they may perceive as an overly aggressive congress. However because the Senate is a fundamentally undemocratic body that was a necessary compromise at the time, what happens today is that it just seems to paralyse government.

So during the entire Obama era the Senate just killed everything and nothing happens. I think it would be better to allow one party to govern and if they implement policies that people aren't happy with then they can get voted out. But it just seems insane that both houses of government and the Presidency just seem these days to concentrate on how they can thwart each other and do nothing.

I suppose that is why Barr wanted to turn the President into a King, which is the ultimate irony considering how America came into existence.

As pointed out in the video above the left needs to be a bit less looney and the right needs to address social injustice, they both need to get a closer together. However it looks like the opposite is happening.

Zepp, Eau doesn’t know what the F he’s talking about.

Thwarting each other and slow change is a good thing. It’s how we keep society and business from being forced to deal with wide and constantly shifting policy decisions. It’s why the nation needs a Republican Senate to slow down the lunacy of leftist in the House forcing nonsense on the nation. It’s likely The House will flip Republican in 2022. Again, it’s how we slow down.

Be glad your government is paralyzed 6 months after every election. It gives you the ability to live how you want and not because someone who has no f’ing clue gets to make some new stupid rule.

Let me give you a little primer. In the US we have basically six segments that influence our political affairs. In order from the least influential to the most influential:
1) right wing extremist. KKK types. They have affectively little to no real influence in political affairs. No one no one wants to be associated with them.  Don’t believe what you hear about Trump. He’s like 99.9% of the other people in this country, they are not racist in their heart and they despise people who are blind enough to stand up waving some stupid white nationalist flag.
2) right wing media. This is Fox News Rush Limbaugh and the newer outfits Newsmax in one America. Rush Limbaugh is an American hero. He single-handedly forced a segment of the media to report from a conservative point of you. They’re very influential on the conservative side.
3) The Republican Party
4) left wing extremists. These are the scums, socialist, soft communist, despicable creatures who should be exiled to a deserted island and they can play their lord of the flies game all they want.
5)  The Democratic Party
6) The main stream news media. Unquestionably the most influential political organization today. they bought and completely with number five the Democratic Party and are sliding towards number four, the left wing extremist.
