So I been wondering what to use to get some Thick rust out of the header pipe and wanted to ask what are the best products/ methods

The piece is pretty rusty, I scrubbed it down with soapy warm water and 0000 wool. the parts where it was severely rusty started to come off but very slowly

There isn't much you can do with it but it still works as usual doesn't it?

You can replace it but I'm sure they are not cheap. Personally I can't stand rust on my bike, your choice.

Bead blast it , then some high heat black paint

Vinegar and baking soda works really well for cleaning out rusty fuel tanks. If you can get a bin or something that the pipe can fit into its worth a shot. Let it soak for a while, sloshing it around intermittently.
