Lancer, what's the deal with the Dial-a-Jets. Do you, or have you used them. I am curious about them as there are a lot of threads about rejetting at altitude and such. I am at sea level, live on the Jersey shore and wonder about riding into the mountains in Vermont, New Hampshire and NY State. For example was thinking about a ride to Mt. Washington this summer. Wondering if it would be helpful for that. They are not high, like Rockies, but several thousand feet up in elevation from where I normally ride.

Good morning

I have used the Dial-a-jets for years.
On the current carb I have on my bike I was getting 50-52mpg and after adding the DAJ that jumped up to 62mpg.  Along with that overall performance improved from mid-wide open throttle.  Additionally it can be adjusted easily when in the hills/mountains.  It does work.  I use it.

I saw your bump.

If you still have the muffler available, I'd be happy to take it off your hands.

The muffler has an extended heat shield welded to it, do you want that that attached or cut off ?  I can email you photos if you want to see first.
