Title: Rearsets
Post by gtenginerd on 09/26/20 at 15:31:44

I saw a few threads on moving rearsets, but nothing totally complete. Anyone have guidance on the best way to move the rearsets since RYCA isn't selling parts anymore?

This is the latest and greatest thread I can find:

Figured since there were no replies I was being a dummy...I was right. I didn't realize the link I was accessing started on the 3rd page of this thread, so I missed the first two of the build.

Seems to be fairly simple, but I haven't done much welding. Any insight for someone trying to tackle this?

Since I was the main contributor to that thread, I will chime in.  Go there and look at the second post.  That's the basic example of a simple rearset bracket.

The ones I made are very similar to what Ryca made except I made them in two pieces and I made them to accept mid-control.  Simply modify the side plate as needed to locate and accept the rearsets.

And since your life depends on this, cut the pieces as need and have a pro do the welding.
