Title: Viewers of video know more than makers
Post by Eegore on 09/11/20 at 07:28:53

I had edits made to the Nevada shooting videos made publicly available about a day after it happened.   Sound was added, and additional flashes were placed into one.  Another is a manipulated radio transmission of a garbled voice saying "They are both shooting now" overlaid  on the concert footage.

All of this is documented, on video, with interviews and commentary from the people making the manipulations as they are doing it.  This includes the entire process of recording the radio transmission and editing it.

This was done as an exercise to show how easy false footage can be created to stir up public distrust, and as part of a larger training exercise.

We simultaneously released the interview footage showing how the videos were faked and presented them together.

I learned yesterday that a number of people still contend that the faked footage is actually real.  We showed how we made it, the Project Editor was right there in the room, but he was wrong.  Those videos were real, and we are part of a cover-up now.

Interesting how powerful images can be when one wants to believe a certain logic.

In a politicized reality, anyone you disagree with is part of the conspiracy
It's a whodunnit' where everybody dunnit'

Beware the "deep state"... it's everyone that ain't Trump

A-Yep, everyone knows this.  What’s your point ?

Propaganda has been made, in various ways and forms, LONG before, their ever was film/video.
Your exercise showing how incredibly easy it is today to fabricate propaganda.
Using computers and Photo-Shop variants, (ask Bot), is just a lesson.

Today, the vast number of personal recording devices, recording one event, greatly negates a ‘photo-shoped’, of that event.

Take the recent Riots. So many recordings of the same things, from different angles, clearly showing people Stealing, Destroying, and being Violent to other people.
Would be rather difficult to, ‘photo-shop/manipulate', those entire recordings to make it look like a, ‘Peaceful’ event.

Yet very easy to JUST show people walking down the streets, (cutting out all the rest), like much of the UL Socialistic media have done.

Or is the suggestion being made
that someone has, ‘Put-In’,
all the violent actions
in the vast amount of Riot footage ?

That I find it interesting and specifically the word "Interesting", applied directly to the power of images in context to a person who watches those images and has already concluded an outcome of an event.

"Or is the suggestion being made

No. I made no reference to riots or riot footage.

Can you provide a link to where that interview footage,
and the 'side/side' comparisons are?

I believe it would be very interesting to see it.

It was presented in-person at multiple locations.

"We showed how we made it, the Project Editor was right there in the room"

The footage is not publicly released.

When the president himself is tweeting manipulated media, it's no surprise his followers are quick to call any counter narratives "fake news".

"Today, the vast number of personal recording devices, recording one event, greatly negates a ‘photo-shoped’, of that event."

I agree with you when it comes to actual reality, but I feel it is circumvented by two means.

First people share/like things they see like wildfire with no diligence to see if what they are sharing is real.  So 30 cellphones showing a guy reach for a gun and then getting shot can be negated by one person cutting the footage to remove the gun-grab and then passing into a bot system of sharing and to a few "Influencers" with millions of followers that will see it in seconds.

Again... millions see it within seconds.

Another issue is directly connected to my original post here.  If the person watching this believes cops kill for fun, they will ignore the 30-1 ratio of video footage, just as they ignore the creators of the footage, in the room, showing people how they did it.

Obviously the 30 cellphones were professionally altered and my video team are all paid actors.

Hell man, you didn’t need to alter video  to prove that point. Look at the replies from the mental giants Sew and this guy Rocks.
Sew thinks Kavanaugh viciously raped a woman and as a 17 year old son of a local judge and straight A high school, organized gang rape parties where the same girls were raped throughout the summer and no one said a word. Not one. Not only was there zero evidence for this, the only evidence available pointed against this, but like looking at a fake video, he’ll repeat it if asked.
There’s no cure for stupid and there’s no cure for blindness.

I’ll bet that was a fun exercise. Question for you. What actions or educational efforts were put in place for those who believed the fake news?

Hard to believe the irony of this sentence is missed on Trump supporters  ;D

Be very careful saying those words.
If some people here said such things,
the ‘tt’ Clones, would say:

“ You Need New TIN-FOIL "

Not at all hard to believe you don’t recognize yourself in this scenario.
