I've had the bike run almost like its an 8 stroke with too much of those hard distinct pulses making for something that literally kicks and few sec later kicks again etc ... very out of balance feeling.
Has anyone had that happen ?
Why or what could be wrong ?

Seems like a timing light would tell you if it's spark,... if it ain't, follow Gary.

Spark is fine, may be lean, cos it sits a lot and when ridden it gets I dunno 1/10 a mile and never even gets warm. OK I'll take off the carb and see if some jet/passage is plugged up (before cleaning it)

Could be it's only hitting on one cylinder.

Had a similar issue when i bought mine, switched to non ethanol fuel and that fixed most of it. If you pull the choke out one notch does it stop doing it?

That non ethanol fuel is hard to find round here - and this bike got ridden for 3 mins at a time in 1st gear and in my yard a few times ...
Definitely be a carb issue, I bet, clogged up stuff.

Savageman99 - LOL, I think hitting on 1 cyl would run great, its hitting on 1 cyl only 1/2 the time.

Road Test
Being a circle in the yard.
Hard to feel something out like that.
You can't get out on the road at all?

I can, but my son cant LOL.
Now if I am not hammered flat on my A$$ whenever he would ride it I'd actually ride onto the road ... but sadly - I never am sober by 6 or 7 pm.
