I have a used Savage engine in good mechanical shape complete with a titled frame and lots of misc bits and pieces (including a pair of $100 super cam chains) for $600 for the entire lot of stuff. This includes a spare jug and piston that require being bored and matched.

I find that folks really need to read the list and contact older members to get what they need at a reasonable price.
