Title: Re: R.I.P. John Prine Post by DieselBob on 04/08/20 at 14:46:11 I heard about his passing last last night. And I've been in mourning all day. What a music icon. Last I heard him live was when I was living in Madison, WI in the 80s. Half way through the concert he brought Steve Goodman onto the stage in what was Steve's last public concert before he died. It was epic. And now John's smoking that cigarette that's "nine miles long". RIP John. And thank you. |
Title: Re: R.I.P. John Prine Post by Armen on 04/08/20 at 15:07:53 He was amazing. Sad to see him go. He had some very serious health issues for decades. Was lucky to have seen him live. One of the best writers of his generation. |
