Sad - but this forum and it's riders can continue on for a long time without being able to buy a 2020 or beyond model.

If you want a "new" one - I suspect the dealers will still have the 2019 models left over bikes for a while......you might even be able to find a rare 2018 or earlier model at a dealer.  While we love this bike - some of the dealers did not promote the sale of them and had trouble moving them out the door.

If you are OK with good used bikes - there are plenty of them out there.  Some were bought by folks who wanted to learn to ride - but soon found out they didn't like riding.  I bought my 2007 in 2012 with only 262 miles on it - the owner had a boyfriend that was teaching her to ride.....when they broke up she never rode again.  If you are not in a hurry and are wiling to travel to buy the right bike - use "SEARCHTEMPEST" to look at Craigslist and other listings, and you can search multiple states.  If bright and shiny is dear to you - try to find one that has been stored indoors - some of the parts corrode easily and are difficult or costly to renew.

This week's issue of Motorcyclist Magazine (the online EMag) shows pics and specs for the 2020 Savage, and lists it as a current model. Everyone else says it's done.

:'( ...  :-[ ...

Hay ,  We did our parts to help keep the LS650 alive.

And

I've got one with only 50,000 miles on it and am reasonable sure it will go to 200,000 with no big problem .    Heck , I'm still on the original cam chain and already have an even better chain to replace it with when the time comes.

Having a machine with a 33 year production run is a respectable "Claim to Fame" .   :)

It ain't green.....KILL IT, get use to it.  ;D

Not sure if we are all just extremely bias....
I have not very much knowledge and experience with motorcycles overall, but this bike sure fit my lifestyle, without all the hoopla and sworn allegiance, you'll find with other bikes enjoying such a long production run....

I note the article doesn't mention the early 400cc ones. Not sure if these were sold in the US but they were in other parts of the world.

Last year the Suzuki website did not include the Savage as a 2019 model for several months after they listed the other bikes.......maybe they are tricking us again.

Find it here:

Curiously, the "2020" is a computer rendering.
