Title: Kilts
Post by NHLycan on 10/12/19 at 07:37:06

I got a kilt. I'm not sure if there's a way to politely wear it on my Savage. Any Scottish lads with advice out there?  :)

Bring the front and rear together between your legs an tie them with a safety pin or two. this should create a sort of pair of shorts. You may need to experiment with the number of safety pins so you can easily mount and dismount. Wind effects could also be a factor.

I would never ride in one of those.
I'd be afraid I'd get kilt.

Hay , In New Hampshire no body cares whats under your Kilt do they ?

The worse thing that could happen is a bee  getting caught up in they or something similar.   :-?

Seriously?  What about ATGATT?

A Kilt is not going to provide you any protection in a fall.
As a kid I was riding a small Italian fold up mini bike with shorts on, and when my left calf touched the chrome muffler I had an instant football shaped brand....it took 15 years for the scar to go away.

The way I heard this one is:
Q: "How many birds can ye fit under a Scotsman kilt?"
A:  "As many as will fit on the perch!"

Are you reading this JOG ? If his theory is correct you can only hide one chicken under your kilt , providing that the chicken only has one leg !  ;D

Kinda snazzy, definite fashion statement.
For that liberating feeling.
I'd be worried about flying insects trying to find a place to nest.

I think I would have a problem changing light bulbs with a kilt on - for sure I would have to get rid of the 5 perched birds before trying! ;)
