Title: Kilts Post by NHLycan on 10/12/19 at 07:37:06 I got a kilt. I'm not sure if there's a way to politely wear it on my Savage. Any Scottish lads with advice out there? :) |
Title: Re: Kilts Post by Serowbot on 10/12/19 at 09:25:19 Leather undies?... :-? |
Title: Re: Kilts Post by Dave on 10/12/19 at 09:57:54 Ride sidesaddle? :-? |
Title: Re: Kilts Post by jcstokes on 10/12/19 at 15:51:46 Bring the front and rear together between your legs an tie them with a safety pin or two. this should create a sort of pair of shorts. You may need to experiment with the number of safety pins so you can easily mount and dismount. Wind effects could also be a factor. |
Title: Re: Kilts Post by Ruttly on 10/12/19 at 16:39:48 Please , Please spare us all from any action photographs ! |

Title: Re: Kilts Post by justin_o_guy2 on 10/12/19 at 19:00:08 I would never ride in one of those. I'd be afraid I'd get kilt. |
Title: Re: Kilts Post by Ruttly on 10/12/19 at 19:26:04 How many chickens can you hide under your kilt ? |
Title: Re: Kilts Post by justin_o_guy2 on 10/12/19 at 20:05:34 I never want to wake up and have a friend tell me that answer. |
Title: Re: Kilts Post by MMRanch on 10/12/19 at 21:05:37 Hay , In New Hampshire no body cares whats under your Kilt do they ? The worse thing that could happen is a bee getting caught up in they or something similar. :-? |
Title: Re: Kilts Post by hotrod on 10/12/19 at 21:47:28 I thought that they wear kilts in Scotland because sheep can hear a zipper open 100 yards away. ;D ;D ;D ;D |
Title: Re: Kilts Post by jcstokes on 10/12/19 at 21:48:31 Just google Riding a motorcycle in a kilt, there are videos and instructional information. |

Seriously? What about ATGATT? A Kilt is not going to provide you any protection in a fall. As a kid I was riding a small Italian fold up mini bike with shorts on, and when my left calf touched the chrome muffler I had an instant football shaped brand....it took 15 years for the scar to go away. |
Title: Re: Kilts Post by Serowbot on 10/13/19 at 08:04:51 I've got it!... plaid leather knee pads and codpiece... |

The way I heard this one is: Q: "How many birds can ye fit under a Scotsman kilt?" A: "As many as will fit on the perch!" |
Title: Re: Kilts Post by jcstokes on 10/16/19 at 19:37:33 Have you checked out the Kilt riding videos? |

Title: Re: Kilts Post by justin_o_guy2 on 10/17/19 at 11:14:08 Ohhh, that was mean... Ima gitchyew.. |
Title: Re: Kilts Post by stewmills on 10/17/19 at 13:11:56 To ensure better biking safety, JOG is wearing this kilt from now on. |
Title: Re: Kilts Post by Serowbot on 10/17/19 at 15:32:19 Okay,.. how many kilted JoG's does it take to screw in a lightbulb?... ;D |
Title: Re: Kilts Post by Ruttly on 10/17/19 at 20:01:05 Kinda snazzy, definite fashion statement. For that liberating feeling. I'd be worried about flying insects trying to find a place to nest. |

Title: Re: Kilts Post by Ruttly on 10/17/19 at 20:12:51 I think we all were baited , either that or the guy who started this thread isn't ever coming back. Can't really blame him after this. ;D |
Title: Re: Kilts Post by Ruttly on 10/17/19 at 20:14:50 Now where were we ? JOG your up ! |
Title: Re: Kilts Post by Dave on 10/18/19 at 05:08:48 I think I would have a problem changing light bulbs with a kilt on - for sure I would have to get rid of the 5 perched birds before trying! ;) |
Title: Re: Kilts Post by stewmills on 10/18/19 at 06:58:44 Yeah, I would have to shew off my 3 pterodactyl's before I could get started working. |
