Title: Replacement grips
Post by Ash19 on 09/22/19 at 05:00:28

Hey everyone, sorry if this has been asked. For some reason, the search wouldn't go through for me.
I'm looking for a new set of vibration reducing grips for the 1" handlebars that don't cost an arm and a leg or that are actually worth it if they aren't cheap. I've been able to find loads for [ch8542]" bars but can't seem to find anything for 1".  (Would love to find on Amazon so it'd be here quick, but not a deal breaker) TIA!

Biltwell grips have many designs in a 1" size. At a good price.
To help with vibration I buy a caulking tube of silicone and pump my bars full. Filling the bar kills/removes harmonic vibration of when bars are hollow. The shorter the bar the better it works. Keep in mind the only way to remove all vibration is to remove the engine !

The Bitwells are great grips.

Adding BB’s to the bars will kill vibration.

The easy fix, don’t use a death grip on the bars. Hold them loosely, with open hands (fingers on the controls). You’ll be amazed at how well the bike handles when you ride with a loose grip.

Thanks guys! I've got a set ordered and I'll try filling the bars with something!
