Title: Jet fuel
Post by Serowbot on 09/09/19 at 07:59:21

Our military planes are now refueling at a commercial airport near Trump's ailing Scottish golf course and staying at his hotel.
So far,... at least $11 million in pricey commercial jet fuel,... plus hotel and food.

Can the emoluments clause be any clearer?...
This alone is definitive grounds for impeachment.
Yet with Trump, it's barely the tip of the iceberg.

I just saw an article on that today as well.

The Air Force is looking into it - but at this point, the presidency can pretty much get away with anything it wants.  The repubs and the establishment dems are all cucks. (hope it's OK I use that word on them, and no one on here).

ron paul voted against the funding the 9/11 first responders.

He's an a$$hole.

Thank goodness he's got the money to go to Canada to get better medical care than he could get here, huh?

The Real not a very nice person was the head of the EPA who declared it safe on 9/11 and the people who ordered them Not to wear respirators.
Ought to be in prison.

Title: Re: Jet fuel

"and the people who ordered them Not to wear respirators"

To my knowledge nobody ever "ordered" staff to "Not to wear" respirators.  One would think the actual responder representative groups would claim this if it were true.  I'd be interested in seeing reference here.

I don't know if anyone here has any experience in EMS, or any Emergency Response task forces but the use of a respirator is and always has been available to staff.  No supervisor can ever order you to remove PPE, and if you do it, you don't belong in Emergency Response.

This is no different than a Fire Captain "ordering" his team to remove their boots.  Anyone that does that needs a new job because you are so obedient to supervision you will jeopardize the safety of everyone you are around.

Now that doesn't mean that anyone said Respirators are not "Required", as in mandatory.  Or that there weren't enough available and responders chose to remain in the environment, which is understandable.

Again, anyone willing to remove safety equipment because they were "told" should not be in any public service environment because their obedience is putting everyone's life at risk.

Many stories like this turn out to be greatly exaggerated or flat out false.
My guess is this one will be the same.
Did they refuel there in the past before Trump or was this the very first time? Did they stay at this hotel before or is this the very first time? Did you even think to ask? Let me guess, much like the ridiculous claim of 7000 dairy farms closing, you simply saw a negative story about Trump, got a woody and started spreading it as quickly as you could.

This alone is definitive grounds for impeachment is mind-boggling insane.  I would say you clowns couldn't possibly get any sillier but i know better....

Pretty easy stuff since multiple FOIA are filed.

Nov 14 2014 the Prestwick Airport and associates entered an agreement, publicly with Trump.

They contract out with multiple hotels in the region, no way Trump's would get them all by volume alone.

180 stops in 2017.
257 stops in 2018.
259 so far this year.
220 overnight stays this year.

All of them under the US per diem of $166.
917 payments totaling $17.2 million.  This includes fuel.

"So basically it was just another case of fake news? "

 No.

By my standards the news is not fake.  The story is accurate, the information is available to the public, has been verified and can be replicated.  Everything expressed in the article has happened.

What part of the story to you is fake?  Are you indicating the numbers I researched are fabricated?  What quantifies this as fake news?

I doubt we will have any resolution to this.  What I can say is my observed reality indicates that when I see all this memorial footage from 2011, people are wearing respirators.

With that being said Christine Todd Whitman was the head of the EPA at the time.  She did make statements right after: "I am glad to reassure the people of New York … that their air is safe to breathe and their water is safe to drink.", also: "public in these areas are not being exposed to excessive levels of asbestos or other harmful substances."

These statements followed the original press release: "sampling of bulk materials and dust found generally low levels of asbestos. The levels of lead, asbestos and volatile organic compounds in air samples taken Tuesday in Brooklyn, downwind from the World Trade Center site, were not detectable or not of concern."

This by my standard is not an "Order" by the EPA, or by anyone, to stop wearing PPE.  One could wear a respirator.

But it sure sounds better to spin the wording so it makes the negligence appear more than what it is.

Our military planes are now refueling at a commercial airport near Trump's ailing Scottish golf course

This was Sew's original tweet. I'm emphasizing the words ...are now....

Much like his and TT unquestioned belief about the dairy farm closing, they simply take any negative story about Trump at face value and extrapolate it to the extreme.

It's fake news in the sense that the media's only purpose behind the story is to continue a purposeful attack on a President from a political party they oppose.  It's why the dairy farms story was fake news. Only the deranged would believe 7000 farms closed this year in from a single industry in a single state. You think it was a simple mistake. I don't think so. Look what TDS infected Sew did with the 'news'? He immediately jumped to a comment about impeachment which means the fake news accomplished it's goal.

If you're a leftist, you watch CNN, MSNBC, SNL or any late night 'comic'. And you believe whatever they say. Doesn't matter how ridiculous it is or how easily it is fact checked.

Are you going to tell me the original Politico story qualifies as unbiased news? They had all the public information available to them just like you did.

"Are you going to tell me the original Politico story qualifies as unbiased news? They had all the public information available to them just like you did."

It is biased.  I don't however, by my standard, consider all biased information to be fake.  Since the information, to me, is not fabricated then the article is not fake.

To me biased news is not fake unless the content of it is fabricated.  As in planes do not refuel at the location indicated in the article.

I would call it biased, and I would call the Dairy Farm story inaccurate, but not fabricated, or fake.

Yet with Trump, it's barely the tip of the iceberg.

Also, we left an extra tip with instructions it be sent directly to Trump. One of our people is foreigner so guess you can add that to your impeachment file!

LOL - hey, you wanna piss away your money at a two bit trump hotel - have at it hoss.  I'm sure you take comfort in that he's getting rich off you.

That you supposedly sent an extra tip doesn't make guys like me angry - it makes us laugh.  You may as well have given your money to a stray cat for all the good it'll do.

But you keep doing you.   :D

Now how the F would either of you know how the food was? Let me guess, you read a story...!!!

Food was fine. They made a special steak cut for me cause I asked. Other guys got Porterhouses and also said they were good. We had a great time.
You should try it sometime.

Lighten up there fella - I didn't comment on the food.  I merely stated that you're giving your money to trump and that makes him richer and you poorer.

I personally would rather eat out of a garbage can before I'd step foot in an establishment with his name on it.

Now, if you want an actual good steak, go to Gene & Georgetti's or Morton's.

"It's quite possibly a miscommunication based on the definitions of a respirator and PPE which maybe a mask with a tank of air vs.  a mask with a filter."

To be fair I am the one saying PPE.  There is no claim that the words PPE were ever used.  I am defining all protective equipment as PPE thus including the term "respirator".

It is plausible that at some point someone indicated that SCBA should not be worn at a specific location.  This usually has to do with enclosed space risk.

I find it hard to believe that not one victim or representative group has made a statement that they had protective respirators available to them, and were forced to keep them off their face.  This is illegal on multiple levels even if no harm was done.  Surely any legal representative would jump on such an easy piece of evidence.

I find it more plausible that the order to wear them was lifted prematurely.

Sure I would. I eat Ben and Jerry's ice creme and they're lunatics. Alec Balwin, especially 30 Rock, is great actor but is certifiable. I'm not a snowflake like you I guess.

Nothing.  It's principle.  I wouldn't go to a trump hotel/restaurant before he was president - and I sure as hell wouldn't go now.

As usual, your perspective is off.  A museum touting someone's perceived accomplishments and a restaurant, hotel or performance isn't exactly the same thing now is it? No, its not. But for the record, I did go through the Clinton Library when I was in Little Rock once.

But you would starve before eating in a Trump hotel huh? What a cute little snowflake you must be....

Funny thing,.. Trump has said, one of the reasons he eats at fast food places is he fears someone recognizing him and tainting or poisoning his food...
Fast food can be ordered anonymously.
This originates from well before he was President.
What does it say about you to think that someone would do that?...
Most famous people would get the best the eatery could offer...
Trump's afraid they'll poison him.
Before he was President!.
You don't carry that kind of paranoia without guilt.

Do you think Tom Hanks worries that someone will poison his food?...
