Title: Stuff for sale
Post by SoC on 08/28/19 at 20:43:06

I have basically disassembled a 2003 that was in an accident. Many parts available including a motor, frame and title with matching numbers. Bike ran and had 8900 miles on it at time of accident. There is both front and rear wheel assembles and lots of miscellaneous, in crates and boxes. Tank has a couple small dents a and a new rattle can flame paint job.

Motor, asking $275.00, as is, local pick-up. Motor, frame and title $350.00, Wheel assembles $150.00 for both front and rear. All other parts, if I have it make an offer.

If any interest, just ask and I will send pictures.

Do you have a right rear turn signal?

What was damaged? The front end and left side of bike. Frame is tweeked pretty bad. it was enough to break the top motor mount on engine. Most of mount is there, just top broken off. Headlight case is history, though rim and inerds are still there. Left peg and shock is gone. Thought I might be able to use frame for a down tube stretch, but frame guy said cost was too prohibitive given how much potentially needed realignment, beter to buy another was his opinion.

Thought I would hang onto motor, but my shop is filling up and another bike may be coming soon. Need to make space and get some of this stuff gone. There is a possibility I may have to relocate shop so I am cleaning house.

I will check on turn signal, but will say chances are good there is one.

Looking for both side covers and toolkit cover (w/ gasket),and screws for all.

Mine is a 2002 but I assume there was no change except perhaps color which is a non-issue.

Do you have a carb fro sale?

MisterChris, I do have a carb, but was not planning to sell it unless with the motor. As I have both an 03 savage and a 2011 S40 that run and I ride, figure probably not a bad idea to keep an extra carb around. Sorry.

Do you have Driver left side Foot peg available and mounting hardware?

WesBond, sorry but the left side was the side torn up in the wreck of the bike so peg and shifter were trashed.

I might be too late, but I'm looking for the clutch handle bracket and cable adjuster. I could use the clutch cable too, but this is for a 1986 LS650P, so the cable from a straight handlebar will not work.

Thx,
AK PDX

No 13 in pic

No rush -- I'll need this by the end of winter... :-)

Do you have the left front peg and clutch pedal?

Title: Re: Stuff for sale
Post by SoC on 01/21/20 at 23:04:43

u1-2no, I probably have those bolts, but I would think any Suzuki dealer could get them and they would not be too expensive. I am on vacation now and will look next week when I get home.

Jcooley, the left side of bike was damaged in wreck so no peg. Not sure what a clutch pedal is, if you mean the shifter, no I don't have one. If you mean cltch handle, that I do have.

Would you happen to have the speedometer cover/gasket? I bought mine with it cracked, missing a chunk and would like to get a fresh one without having to pay near 80 bucks for a whole new speedometer. Also, anyone know how to fix the rattling on it? Attached is what i'm looking for.

Appreciate it!

This is a part that is near ideal to be 3d printed. I wonder if someone has access to one of those and try to scan and print it.

But then again with so many people going the RYCA café or bobber as well as various other mods this is likely getting thrown in the trash a lot along with tanks and fenders and that abomination of the rear grab bar fender combo.

Cool.
Srinath.

There are a couple of threads here somewhere about fixing the Speedo rattle. I just took it apart and stretched the three springs a bit with a pair of pliers then put 'em back in again. I added a tiny bit of lube where the springs sit as well to avoid any squeaks - that did the job.
