lol The junk food of motorcycle videos. Low speed, on sand/leaves seems ideal. The only thing hurt might be his pride.

Some folks are content with low speed crashes......they don't feel the need to break their forks off in the side of a sedan! ;D

That might well have been us if we at met when we were 18 and had limited life experiences at the time........pain is a tough taskmaster and makes us realize we are somewhat fragile.

I always feel sensible until I hit the ground.

What is this word you speak of , "Sensible" ?

Does anyone look beyond their front tire ?

Let your bike & tires deliver you from evil , stay focused and look as far ahead as needed for your speed. A 1 second distraction is all it takes.

Ride smart and focused , stay alive !

I used to never think about that until I started taking flight lessons back in 2000. So you don't get target fixation on the runway threshold and smash into it, my instructor taught me to (as soon as you "have" the runway) focus my eyes around mid-field or the last half of the runway and it proved to result in much smoother landings because you have the whole runway and elevation framed in your decisions actions, not just a little spot on the concrete.

I use that in everyday driving and motorcycle riding where applicable, always trying to look far ahead and plan for as much as the eye can see.

The Cost of
A twist of the wrist 2
Is Nothing compared to the value.
I read it cover to cover Five times and I still thumb through it.
Eyeball drills, how to allow as much information to flow in,, I'm still working on that,

And no, nothing about how to stop a bike running 45MPH in under two seconds in the book,, dangitt..

The standard comment I hear from riders of big V-Twins:

"I had to lay her down!"

(Interpretation:  I don't ever use my front brake and when I locked up the rear brake.....I lost control and the bike lowsided.)

YEp, that is for sure, PAIN can absolutely take control of your life; for a period or long term.  I can attest to that.
Somewhat fragile ?  More like TOTALLY FRAGILE.
