Not sure if y'all have seen these or have a thread on them. Saw this one this morning on flea bay and thought it was rad!

And the beat of a crisp throaty exhaust note?  (false advertising ? )

They forgot to include
When you swap out the chrome garbage can for a Dyna muffler.

We all know it's advertising crap, everyone get on with your bobbers, choppers , carb tuning, whatever. I'll just climb/stagger on to my 26 in stock seat and push the starter, fire up and ride for as long as suits me, get off at the end and look at the oil window now and again, being quite content with my chrome cannon. Oh and the beautiful chrome head covers.

Just like my cheeseburger and fries,... it always looks better in the ad.

They managed to make the stock Savage look pretty good,... even with pullbacks and a sissy bar.

PS... Hot chicks all gather around my cheeseburger too.  ;D

I already had my chick for many years before I bought the Savage - but it is nice to know that if I ever need another one...........I got the right bike to get me another chick! ;)

I'm not sure about the stock muffler, however, just to show no ill feeling Suzuki was gracious enough to give me one with the bike. :)

Advertising is always so dumb and cheesy it makes me laugh. Guess you buy a Harley to score with some nasty skanky hoes. Wait a minute I  already own one. Nice day here in rockin n rollin California think I'll take the Sportster out and raise some hell !

Are those buckhorns pulled down more than usual or is it the camera angle? I may do some experimenting with mine later. The ad is also from 1987.

You are absolutely right Mike, when I first met Paula I took her on several Savage rides; apparently she was hooked from then on !
On all of us, I had 3 at the time.
