Title: That's a wrap....... Post by raydawg on 07/05/19 at 11:54:05 Got a early start yesterday on open day crab season..... First time in YEARS because of work, etc... Two pulls, and we were done :D Tossed back lots of keepers just to cull the 10 Dungeness crab we kept. We also kept 6 BIG red rock crab, we were allowed more, but we tossed them back, as these just don't eat as well as dungies..... About 45 minutes in to just relaxing, I see these 4 guys in a tin boat, a few hundred yards away, they start waving a flag..... I pull anchor and go to investigate. Yep, they broke down. Four BIG dudes in a 12 foot aluminum boat, had a new yammie 25hp 4 stroke on it....what the heck. They thought it might be the battery....???? Said I would pull them a few miles to a ranger station, see if he has a charger, or ?. A couple hours later I saw them heading for home, across the water to the mainland. Good karma helps ;) |
