Post by raydawg on 04/17/19 at 17:00:14

Anybody got some fun adventures planed?

I got kids, grand kids,  coming up this summer.....
Lots of local boating, crabbing and fishing, and in between all that, mom and I already have 3 trips booked at RV campgrounds. Nothing too far away yet, all within a days drive, but next year will are going for one over 6000 miles  :)

What you guys doing?  :)

The natural and obvious thing that goes with

jumping out of a plane in Maui.

Dude, if you're gonna do anything to make jumping out of an airplane safe, take jumper cables or a water hose with you.

Everybody knows you can't drag either one five feet without them hanging up on something. Then, just hang on till someone rescues you.

I hope to do some serious riding this summer - but so far all the plans seem to be a dead end for some reason.  Either I am busy, other folks are busy - my wife is out of town and I am dog sitting and can't go on those dates, etc.

I will ultimately get some riding in - even if it is a solo ride.  I will be watching the weather down around the Dragon....and going when I can find some good weather days.  I am also going to explore some of the riding areas down in the Daniel Boone National Forest area......maybe find some good riding areas halfway between Cincinnati and Lynchburg TN where MM and I can meet and do some riding without us having to each ride 5 to 8 hours to get to meet up.

I do believe my wife would want to go to the Ozarks to go riding/exploring.......maybe that can happen later on this summer.  I do know the Mrs. wants to go on some long weekend camping trips this summer.

I just got back from Florida......we went down on a quick trip as my father in law went into hospice and we wanted to be there.  Not a fun trip....but the afternoon after he passed we did get to take our dog Lily for her first ever trip to the beach!  She is the brown/black dog with her tongue hanging out....she had been running for half an hour by the time I took the video and she was pretty tired.

I split the thread as it got focused on Deb.

Carry on with the summer fun stuff!

My friends have been converting a school bus into a tiny home, so my plans are mostly to ride my savage as much as possible and help them build their home! https://www.instagram.com/5speedhouse/

Our next big step is to fill in the transition area between the stock and raised roof.

I'm PLANNING, as in hoping to be able to, go on a trip to Washington state, by way of the Grand Canyon, and home by way of Jellystone, and any parks I can camp in along the way. I'm old enough to get the park pass that saves money, but the fishing licenses for the various states for three days or whatever are a bit pricey. Regulations and stuff require a good bit of knowledge, so, some places I'll be eating beans and rice,, but I like that..
I'm hopeful,,, but,, Lotsa variables.
