Title: Camshaft compatibility for different years Post by manny87 on 02/11/19 at 12:30:54 Does anyone know FOR A FACT whether or not any camshaft from any year would fit any engine from any year? And what is the actual difference, if any? I've found a few on ebay, and some of them say they're good for all models, but others give a certain year range. I need to replace the one on my '87 |

Just make sure you buy one that is not damaged/worn - a lot of them have worn lobes from using an oil without sufficient ZDDP, or worn journals from too low of an idle speed. |
