hi there just wondering im new to the single slug wounder called the savage.and im looking for a good one. i found one 2006 (boulevard) 13000 km but it has oil coming from the top of cylinder front left area and also the exhaust looks pretty blue. and it would not start at all.when i looked at it the second time when i went pick it up other than not starting.(i heard it run for about 5 min the frist time looked at ) should i be worried about ether issue.any help or advise would be great  thanks :-/

It will be necessary to determine what is leaking.  A leak will appear to come from the left side because it is lower.  It can be the head plug leak or from something else.  Clean the engine thoroughly take it for a short ride and check for leaks.  spray some foot powder on suspect areas before you run it if you're having trouble locating the leak.

Blueing is generally caused by the lean jetting that comes from the factory.

Poor starting can be several issues, dirty carb is typical if it's been sitting for a long time.
