Title: Sleeping.......
Post by raydawg on 12/31/18 at 09:43:55

My wife has been complaining about our bed for a spell......
Not to brag, but just to clarify, not the action, but the support  :-[
Me, being the cheapskate that brought me to the Savage,  when I needed a bike to ride, has pretty much defined who I am in general.
We bought one of those expensive beds about 16 years ago, maybe 1500 hundred or so, when 15 hundred was a very tidy sum to spend on a bed....
So I was still thinking, “No Way” do we need a new bed!
She complained of aches and pains in the morning, and to be honest, I noticed more too sometimes, but sorta chalked it up to being a old fart, etc.
Well, been down in SoCal with the kids, grand kids, since before Christmas...
Slept on a bed at my sons house that was amazing.
My wife commented on it after just one nights sleep, how great it was.
It’s called a Purple Bed.
Just ordered the California King, should get it when we return home.
My question to any of you that might have experience with it, what is your take..... if you don’t mind sharing?

Thanks, and HAPPY NEW YEAR  :)

I don't have a Purple, but had a Swedish foam after I broke my back, that was the best.  I'm always cold after the accident and really love the heat of the foam mattresses.  Now I have a Casper.  I'm 6" and 165lbs and the Casper is a too firm for my liking.  It would have been nice to test before buying.  It'll probably go to one of the spare rooms and I'll try something else.

Before finishing your post I had Purple in my mind.

They come highly recommended in orthopedic and physical therapy circles.  By people that get no return for the recommendation.

I'm lucky so far, I can sleep anywhere and usually do, I actually don't own a bed, a connection to a life I once had I guess, but I figure someday I will have to get one.

Not till I was about 45 or so did my body require a quality mattress to sleep without causing pain. Pain = bad sleep. High Quality mattress = good sleep. I can sleep standing up , I can sleep anywhere , but a good nights sleep on a great mattress is the only way to go. Be sure to tell us how you like it !
