Title: Monica
Post by WebsterMark on 11/13/18 at 13:22:09

Monica Lewinsky: "If you want to know what power looks like, watch a man safely, even smugly, do interviews for decades, without ever worrying whether he will be asked the question he doesn't want to answer."

Very insightful. But only half the story. The more important half is all the "journalist" know they can't ask that embarrassing question to one of the leaders on their team.

True, just like no one called out rick scott for blatantly lying about the "election fraud" in Florida.

It happens all the time - on both sides.

What you just did is called "false moral equivalence" in psychological terms.

Hey, now you're the one with the reader's digest words of the day, huh?

Even with that at your side, you're wrong.

You see, it's actually exactly the same.

You stated:
"The more important half is all the "journalist" know they can't ask that embarrassing question to one of the leaders on their team. "

Then I said:
"True, just like no one called out rick scott for blatantly lying about the "election fraud" in Florida."

You see, the morality in question is not the perpetrator or their act, it's the "journalists".

Gee mark, nice try.  But you came up short.

No, it's not. You just think it is, but it's not.

LOL - well mark, I explained it perfectly.  It's exactly the same from the point of view of the media - which is the point that you made.

Now, the infractions of scott and clinton are far different.

But then, you didn't make that distinction, now did you?

I explained it perfectly   No, you didn't. Go find another Reader's Digest from years ago and see if you can find an answer.

Wow, such a short, selective memory.

You were the one that brought up the media mark.  That's the comparison.

But naw.. you can just ignore that... right?

I don't hear any whistle.

Must be that dog whistle that you righties bring out amongst yourselves, huh?
