Alive. Sore. Just got home from Galveston yesterday. Hekkuva ride. Got exciting a few times. Wet roads, dark, cross winds gusting in curves, a couple of miles of ground fog that covered the lines. They were visible once I got a few feet from them. Keeps a guy focused at 65 or so.

good to hear from you, you were so quiet I was worried..

Hope you had a good time in Galveston. One of these days when you're down this way, let me know I'll buy you a meal or something.

I know we don't agree on much politically, but it's  not fair for me to judge you on that, I know you're more than that as am I, so I'm willing to put aside all my BS here and  treat you to a meal or something just to show that I can be hospitable and really not an as s hole.

the Lone Star Rally is coming up...

Well, I went from the ferry to Treasure Island and back. Doesn't look that blasted long on the map.

Went riding with fishing poles strapped to my Vstrom yesterday in Southern Missouri. My brother rode his Honda NC700. The wind gusts were pushing 45 mph. Downwind, it caught our windshields and pushed to 90 mph in a heartbeat. Straight into the wind, and it was like we were on 250s Sideways, and we were tacking like sailboats. No idea what the tree leaves looked like cause we couldn't take eyes off the road for a second.
