Never know what to expect on a Savage. The remarkable thing is that he stays right side up (warning - the f-bomb is a bit over-used. But give the guy a break. It would have been hard for any of us)

I think at Nurburg Ring in the late 1930's, former motorcycle ace and amazing Auto Union driver Tazio Nuvolari struck and killed an adult deer while practicing for the German Grand Prix, or perhaps Eiffelrennen.

I hit (mostly clipped) a deer on my Ninja last fall at ~55mph in the dark. I wasn't mad at all about the busted fender, faring damage, busted right foot peg, and deer hair in my clutch cabling. I was rather happy to be alive and not spill the bike! Deer...he disappeared. I hope he had a real bad headache but I know I didn't hit him hard enough to kill him.

I hit 5 quail that tried to fly at the last second with my truck , stopped and scooped them all up went home and cooked them up , Yum !
