Title: Stubborn starter.
Post by Beggaa on 10/08/18 at 05:46:41

So, I can't find anything on this problem. When I hit the starter button, I can hear the comp release open, then sometimes the bikes starter will turn over sometimes not. When it does turn over, it turns with plenty of power. What gives?

I suspect your decomp is too loose or way too tight.

If it normally starts on the 1st turn, then it's too loose.

If it takes several turns, then it's too tight.

That,s the kicker, sometimes it doesn't turn at all. but when it does, it turns great.

Electrical contact cleaner might be better ,spray the kill and starter button also . PB blaster is oil based, and oil is an insulator .
