Probably answered in other forums but I ask what is the history of the savage motor?
I know it was shared in 400 cc form with the seldom (unfortunately) seen Tempter.

Well, it's supposed to be a secret, but someone parked a lawnmower in Seabiscuit's stall, and the rest is, as they say, history.
