I know I get personal messages from at least one member that doesn't like that I use automation for a lot of my daily activities ("lazy privileged P.O.S. that never had to earn anything") but maybe some others are interested.

Amazon is really picking it up, won't be long and you will be able to tell your microwave to cook that popcorn, tell your TV to get the movie ready and your sound system to power on all from the garage as you put tools away.

I tell it to make a shopping list that updates in real time as the week goes, then once I am ready to shop I have the list printed, or if its at Wal-Mart or somewhere with pick-up I just have the list processed and pick up the package on my way.

Her diet is low calorie, low amp, she wouldn't be interested in your precious sandwich.

There is an editor for it so that you can customize the character, so customizing the speech shouldn't be far off either.

I don't even have a cell phone. My shopping list is on paper, I copy it from the whiteboard on the fridge. My wife just snaps a pic. I'm a dinosaur.

A dinosaur would etch the list in stone and have his wife take a picture of that, whiteboard sounds more Cro-Magnon to me.

There is a program that can read hand-written notes and convert it to type, the USPS has used a similar system for years.
