I have bobbed my bike and of course that makes it difficult to carry stuff. I ran across this backpack linked below and while it is a little expensive I bought one to try. This thing is great and it actually fits in the tool compartment of our little S-40. Now I always have a backpack if I need to stop at the store.

Here in S.AZ,.. wearing a vinyl vest would be intolerable...
I carry a lightweight nylon messenger bag that can hang at hip level, so I can still get some air cooling on my torso.

I'd also want a horizontal zipper securing my stuff...
