Hi,
So I ordered a handlebar switch and i ordered a newer one for my 87 savage. The connector isnt the same, what should I do? Get the right year one or wire it to work?

I would get the proper switch. If that doesn't work out then go to plan B.

How new is he newer one you purchased?

What years is it compatible with, do you know?
