Title: Re: New tire - Great price Post by MMRanch on 05/25/18 at 15:51:37 With that solid center section it looks like it should handle rain groves good and last a long time too . I'm needing a Longevity report on the 712. That tire just looks like it should make your bike faster too ! :) |
Title: Re: New tire - Great price Post by MarcosS40 on 05/25/18 at 18:18:14 I just had my second 712 mounted on the rear. I got 7300 miles out of the first one. That's with about 60% 2-up riding in the mountains of N. Central PA. The front looks almost new that was mounted at the same time. I try to avoid riding in the rain so can't really speak to the wet weather performance, but I really like the dry performance. Tracks really well through the cormers and doesn't nibble around on rain grooves. The front is very good in these respects also. I bought mine a couple of weeks ago because I needed it for safety inspection, so missed the great sale, but the reg. price at bikebandit was $66.00 so not too bad. Bought through amazon so free shipping. also bought a set of Progressive 412 shocks. Major improvement in ride! |
