Title: Bars Post by mz250 on 03/13/18 at 23:18:03 Anyone know what sort of bars these would be and how hard to fit them to a 2014 model ? Cheers |

Title: Re: Bars Post by Serowbot on 03/14/18 at 09:46:45 Looks like a Photoshop rendering... Those bars may not be real. :-? Bars that low will hit the tank... unless they are mounted with offset forward of the forks. |

Title: Re: Bars Post by Ruttly on 03/14/18 at 15:10:32 I like those , good vintage look ! |
Title: Re: Bars Post by IslandRoad on 03/14/18 at 18:59:54 Those Norman Hyde bars look similar to the Triumph Superbars. Although the ones in the photo may have a bit more pullback. |
Title: Re: Bars Post by Dave on 03/15/18 at 03:10:51 I think Serowbot it right.....it is a nice looking bike - but it is not a real bike and has been created digitally/photoshopped. If you get bars with some angle/pullback to the grip ends - they can hit the tank when you turn sharply, and you may have to install risers to get the bars above the tank. (Clip-ons can be angle outward for clearance - but then they may end up at an angle that is not comfortable for riding). You can also fabricate a bigger "stop" to limit how far the bars can turn.....get it too big and you can't turn around in a 2 lane road. This is one I made - it was later cut down in size once the tank and bars were mounted. http://i45.tinypic.com/1zzgzet.jpg |

Do you have an image of those on a Savage by chance? |

Title: Re: Bars Post by Ruttly on 03/17/18 at 16:02:41 Are forks at stock length ? I like it. Low lines give it a fast appearance. |
Title: Re: Bars Post by antmanbee on 03/17/18 at 16:50:23 Forks are at stock length now in the picture but I have a lower triple clamp that I am converting to an upper and I will drop the forks about 1 1/2 inches and mount clip-ons on the tubes above the top triple clamp. That should be about an inch or two more lower than the bars now. I will also be fabricating some mid set pegs and a higher flat seat. |
Title: Re: Bars Post by Ruttly on 03/17/18 at 18:41:52 The triumph bonneville seat is a good option, check the tech section for pics |
