I could be mistaken about this, but if memory serves, I believe the state of Hawaii is run by Democrats. Maybe the dude with button duty was a "diversity" hire.

The bigwigs won't take the heat if they can help it.

I read that the warning was real, but the missile got shot down.
I think it's a fair question to ask
Where is the alarm set off
From?
Where is the detection equipment sitting? I have no clue..

I know we aren't alone in the ability to detect, I'm just wondering exactly how a warning is initiated.

If its anything like the setup in CO then yes a single employee can send the alert. By design the system doesn't require multi-personnel redundancy to send the social alerts. I don't know for sure though.

From my experience it was probably more than one person involved but one will take the heat.

As for missile launches I would be very surprised if only the US saw a ballistic launch. Of course YouTube will be filled with sources claiming it was real.
