I spent an insane amount of time rewiring someone's Airhead BMW with all the Moto Gadget stuff, and decided it was time to work on mine. I have to keep reminding myself that it's just a bike, and done is beautiful. Not a lot of mechanical stuff left to do. On the average week, I head out the door at 6:45 am, and get home around 9 pm. Not much energy left on the weekends. Came up with some new ideas on the seat mounting. Should make things simpler. Still shooting for sub-300 lb wet weight. Had some thought on a more butch front axle set-up. Lots of notes, a few pieces of aluminum..... Hope all is well. -Armen |

Title: Re: Frame jig Post by Ruttly on 12/17/17 at 07:15:40 Me too up at 2:30 am gone by 3:30 back home by 6 or 7pm six sometimes 7 days a week. No time but I'm chipping away on mine as well. But I will be riding by late spring , waiting for paint guy to finish. Tracker is at 308 lb might go up or down by a couple lbs. Happy Holidays ! |

Title: Re: Frame jig Post by Armen on 12/17/17 at 07:38:54 Trying to make an aluminum side stand from a Triumph 675 Daytona fit the bike. With the rear sets, I chopped the original footpeg/control mounts tight to the frame. The original stand was hitting the shift linkage, and is heavy, and ugly. Some shopping and welding done. More to go. Will post pics if it ends up looking nice. |
