Title: Spam?
Post by Armen on 12/03/17 at 09:38:39

Just tried to post something, but I got a message that one of the fields had something that could be SPAM, and didn't allow me to post. Made a few changes, and tried again. Same message. No idea what I'm doing wrong.
Help!

I've had that happen to me.
Nothing I know to do about it.

Not even close, but still very tasty ! When I do bologna I buy a 2lb stick from the deli unsliced make cuts thru the skin about 3/4" apart paint it with mustard ,roll it in dark brown sugar and smoke it for 3 to 4 hrs , Yum ,
So Good on buttered sour dough toast.

I loved both spam and bologna as a kid, pretty much lived on bologna sandwiches with mayo.
Now days I now longer use them ... HEART ATTACKS & STROKES !!!!

Thanks a pant load for all the useless comments. I was actually trying to figure out why I couldn't post something.
Hard to believe there is a spam filter on this page, and no one knows what triggers it.

I had some trouble posting yesterday when I was trying to suggest someone could buy a bike and sell parts from their old bike.

I sanitized my post, and then went back and modified it.

EDIT: But it let me post this time without issue, so who knows.

Browsers can do stupid things too. I have had browser updates add security features that make it think it is smarter than me and knows what I want to post and warns me that what I am doing could be perceived as spam, etc. I don't care and I want to do what I want to do.

The more these browser developers try to input their AI into the tools the worse it gets. If ever in question, switch browsers and see if the problems persist.

I love a joke as much as anyone, but the endless nonsense comments when one is asking a serious question...

I tried editing my piece a few times, but each time it still triggered the spam warning.
I give up.

Because if you get no comments then the OP get offended, goes off on a rant then the next thing we know some catastrophe has occurred and we never hear from the OP again.  We prefer to diffuse the situation with a little humor and a lot of stupid comments.  And all is well.

IDK what causes it. I've tried breaking the post into sections by copying and emailing it to myself, then tried to post it in several pieces. No links, nothing that looked like spam, face/ brick wall
.

Nobody knows why or when.
That's why nobody
Helped you.
