Title: Yeah, those Russians are back
Post by pg on 10/17/17 at 08:36:36

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-10-17/fbi-uncovered-russian-nuclear-bribery-plot-obama-approved-uranium-one-deal-netting-c

As the mainstream media continues to obsess over $100,000 worth Facebook ads allegedly purchased by Russian spies in 2016 seeking to throw the presidential election, we're almost certain they'll ignore the much larger Russian bombshell dropped today in the form of newly released FBI documents that reveal for the very first time that the Obama administration was well aware of illegal bribery, extortion and money laundering schemes being conducted by the Russians to get a foothold in the atomic energy business in the U.S. before approving a deal that handed them 20% of America's uranium reserves...and resulted in a windfall of donations to the Clinton Foundation.

In the run-up to the approval of the deal by the State Department, nine shareholders of Uranium One just happened to make $145mm in donations to the Clinton Foundation.  Moreover, the New Yorker confirmed that Bill Clinton received $500,000 in speaking fees from a Russian investment bank, with ties to the Kremlin, around the same time.

Best regards,

Hey pg - ever wonder why we know about all these donations to the clintons?

I'll give ya a little hint - they disclose their taxes.....

Do you wanna know who doesn't?  Naw - you don't care..... do you?

As I've heard so many times from those who lean to the right - if you have nothing to hide, then why hide it?  Comply and there will be no problems, right?

All the things you listed are above board.  They were reported.  There is no "smoking gun".  You see, it's all legal... oh, and public!

But - we all know why tweety has said he'll never release his taxes, don't we?  He's a liar, a poor businessman and a terrible leader.

Funny how you can overlook all the grift that tweety's got going on right now, right in plain view.  Go find out how his hotels are doing (it's well known that he encourages visitors to the WH to stay there) - go see how his golf courses are doing (he's played hundreds of rounds of golf already with hundreds of folks in tow - wait - maybe THAT'S why you love him so??) .  ;D

Among other amendments, the foundation now reports receiving nearly $20 million in funds from governments, mostly foreign governments, between 2010 and 2013.

Wrong again!!

Wow, imagine that!  They understated the taxes by $20M during the exact same time she was Secretary of State (2009-2013).  So yeah, they would have to amend them after that....

Yesterday a big powwow was held among media folk.
Russia was a big topic.
Russia did meddle in our election, this was why Trump even brought it up in the debate.
Hillary poo-pooed him and asked him to pledge to honor the result, like her.......

After looking at these internet shadow advertising, etc, it is learned they favored nobody, but bought opposing argument even to the stuff they posted previously....
It is believed they wanted to cause division, and tear apart any attempt at a focused and organized America to combat its problems, to sow discourse.

Guess what, its working because idiots have taken the bait!

Once again,.. you get led by the nose...
http://www.snopes.com/hillary-clinton-uranium-russia-deal/
- The Uranium One deal was not Clinton’s to veto or approve
- Despite transfer of ownership, the uranium remained in the U.S.
- The timing of most of the donations does not match

- "Update

On 17 October 2017, The Hill reported obtaining evidence that Vadim Mikerin, a Russian official who oversaw the American operations of the Russian nuclear agency Rosatom, was being investigated for corruption by multiple U.S. agencies while the Uranium One deal was up for approval — information that apparently was not shared with U.S. officials involved in approving the transaction. The Hill also reported receiving documents and eyewitness testimony “indicating Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton’s charitable foundation during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided a favorable decision to Moscow,” although no specifics about who those Russian nuclear officials were or how the money was allegedly routed to the Clinton Foundation were given. In any case, none of these revelations prove that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton participated in a quid pro quo agreement to accept payment for approval of the Uranium One deal."

It is a crime to use a public office to confer a benefit to a foreign government in exchange for money.  It is often referred to as “pay-to-play,” but it can be prosecuted under a variety of anti-corruption laws passed by Congress, including the federal bribery statute (18 USC 201-b), the federal gratuity statute (18 USC 201-c), the mail fraud statute (18 USC 1341), the wire fraud statute (18 USC 1343), the program bribery statute (18 USC 666), and the Travel Act (18 USC 1952).

Robert Mueller was the FBI Director during the time of the Russian uranium probe, and so was his successor James Comey who took over in 2013 as the FBI was still developing the case.  Rod Rosenstein, then-U.S. Attorney, was supervising the case.

The Clinton Foundation contributions have nosedived which is perhaps the single most obvious evidence the Clinton's are knee deep in corruption. This uranium deal has the potential to snag Robert Mueller since he was FBI director at the time.

Interestingly enough, Atty General Jeff Sessions recused himself over the Russian matter which didn't sit well with Trump. When the uranium investigation makes its way to Mueller's time, all Sessions has to do is say "See, I recused myself so you need to do the same with your Russian investigation". In a funny and ironic way, Sessions recusal might force the end to the non-stop and ridiculous Trump-Russian conspiracy witch hunt which has expanded to include anything and everything. They are not going to do all this without putting someone's head on a pole. I don't know who the unlucky bastard will be, but someone's life will be ruined to justify all this time and money spent.

Web....

This investigation was started with Glenn Simpson, whose Fusion GPS firm has been tied to anti-Trump efforts and pro-Russian lobbying.

He will not talk to lawmakers in response to a subpoena, the leaders of the Senate Judiciary Committe report.

I remember reading this was the catalyst, and foundation, as to why Mueller was appointed.

How odd this company is pleading the 5th against self incrimination.
Folks what, throw shiit on the wall, looking to see if it sticks, and then bail when it doesn't?

If nothing else comes from this, it sure gives pause as to how big that web of Clinton/Soros, weaved....

No wonder her loss is causing her to go insane.
She must really loath Obama for spoiling her real chance at getting the office.
He made her wait, and the exposure cost her.

How many have felt its entangling, of the Clinton/Soros, web?

I bet folks that got caught in it must feel like the girls who Harvey Weinsten invited to a job interview.......

Except the effect must feel like a HUGE wang being shoved up their portal as they bend over and spread for the party.....

Not sure if Harvey was a buttman.

OUCH  :o

Mark Steyn is an acquired taste so his writing is not for everyon, but his points are well made in the link below.

The Clinton Foundation may well turn out to be the largest scam (other than the money making monster known as Climate Change) pulled off by figures of in the public eye. It's hard to believe they'll ever be properly investigated but on the other hand, her loss to Trump and the dying out of her political influence means fewer people in power feel the need to be "loyal" to The Clintons. Could it happen? I would have said no way even up to a few months ago, but the way Trump so completely divides people has a benefit. Isolated from any hope of reconciliation with the other side can liberate people also. In other words, could people who have information they would normally sit on because they want to keep all options open, decide since half those options are permanently closed, they are not going to risk themselves to protect a couple who no longer have any value?

Weinerstain broke the dam. The flood of names and ensuing, hopefully, investigations will connect Hollywood with D.C... The potential for truths about powerful people coming out could lead to a Number of, uhh, " suicide victims  ",  ..

There's Evidence of wrongdoing by the Clinton crime family. And the Dossier that the lefties were cumming in their panties over is such an obvious smear campaign they should have burned it instead of trying to use it.

We may see a page in history written.
And a purging of Hollywood and D.C.

OK - I own it.... What's the problem?  This was all out on public display.  He didn't do it behind closed doors.  He didn't do it to collude.  He did it for the money... so?

It's funny that you righties are trying to make a mountain from a mole hill:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/fact-checker/wp/2016/10/26/the-facts-behind-trumps-repeated-claim-about-hillary-clintons-role-in-the-russian-uranium-deal/?utm_term=.1883d2591f61

In case you don't want to click on the link - read on:

Some Republican lawmakers in 2010 did raise concerns about the deal — but they sent their letter to then-Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner. (Treasury chairs the CFIUS.) Final approval was given by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, which noted that the mines would remain under the control of U.S. subsidiaries. “Neither Uranium One nor ARMZ [the Russian firm] holds an NRC export license, so no uranium produced at either facility may be exported,” the NRC said. (Some uranium yellowcake is extracted, processed in Canada and returned to the United States.)

We asked the Trump campaign for evidence that Clinton or the State Department had more of a role in the deal than any of the eight other member agencies of CFIUS, and did not receive a response.
