Title: New pegs, new look Post by philthymike on 04/30/17 at 07:10:22 I've finally chosen to not sink any money into making Thumpy look pretty. Considering the outside parking a paint job and polishing will be a waste. I will continue to improve the bike on the functional side though. To this end I added some better foot pegs. And decided to apply some stickers to cover over the more troublesome blemishes. In this I chose a fitting theme.... |

I got these ones but in black, search for them.. http://www.jpcycles.com/product/531-850 You'll need a steel sleeve (2) and bolts from Ace hardware if you have one nearby. The sleeve is 3/8" OD and 1/2" long. I had to grind down the diameter a tiny bit to make them slide into the peg holes. I also grinded about an 1/8" off the end because it was a bit too long. The allen bolts are #4 X 25mm X 1.0 |
