I don't know what to think.
Someone Made that video?
And someone else actually watched it?
I couldn't believe it was a joke. I watched until he was trimming with the little scissors, wow..
I just don't understand why that's supposed to be funny. I never got Monte Python either. Funny isn't the same everywhere I guess. I hope I'm never stuck in a place where Knock Knock jokes are considered hilarious.

I spent some time on Arboristsite.com figuring out what kind of chainsaws I wanted for keeping up with my outdoor boiler.  Several of the fellows on the cut/split/sell and deliver firewood to customers.  For normal folks they dump the load where they are told to - a few of them will also stack at an extra cost.

One fellow said a customer didn't want to pay him or keep the wood, as there was some loose bark and it wasn't totally clean.  They started joking about firewood that was cleaned and processed....and they started calling it "Yuppie Wood".

How sad,, in just 150 years we've gone from the rugged stock of pioneers to pansies too wussified to handle firewood with bark.

@justin_o_guy2, no offence was intended. it's just that I came across that video the day before and when I saw your thread, I'd thought I'd drop it in seeing as it was wood related.

FFIW I'm a big fan of wood craftsmanship. Two of the best things I've seen at a wood working exhibition many years ago was a full working 6 speed gearbox with reverse made entirely out of wood and nothing but wood, and a viking boat made of 7 different types of wood all fitted together with no nails, screws or glue, just the fitting of the wood relying on swelling to lock into place.

I can't begin to picture the joinery required to accomplish that..If pictures of such exist I'd appreciate you telling me what search terms to use.

@JOG, memory is hazy, this was over 40 years ago a large city dept store had it as part of an exhibition. It may not have been Viking maybe just some of their techniques, it was definitely made in Australia as it was the first time I'd ever encountered Huon Pine which is the best boatbuilding timber on Earth and was the main wood used. It was in a dinghy style, but it was very impressive.

I don't know what to say about the fire wood. I'm not sure if I can believe it. I don't know if Monty Python would have had the "chutzpah".

They say hand perforated like it's a good thing. I'm never happy if my hand perforates the tp.
