Title: Fixed my windshield scratch
Post by Buster on 03/05/17 at 05:01:19

Got a good cheap deal on a new OEM windshield from eBay, but it was damaged due to packaging error with one of the brackets. Scratch was near bottom and wasn't too noticeable, but still didn't like seeing it there. Repair took about 5 seconds and cost less than $5 [ch128522]

I like it!  We should have a thread called "There, I fixed it!".

My gas tank was propped up with a piece of wood on the bike while I was replacing the breather hose.  It tipped and partially fell down the side of the bike and got some dings and scratches.  I'm not a Bondo or paint guy so just touched up the spots where the paint was down to metal.
But Dime City Cycles sent a decal when I got my headlight a while back so I stuck it on one of the more noticeable dings.  Didn't really want decals on my bike but I like the way this one sits off to the side and it covers the scar.

Not sure who this question is aimed at, but if it's for me - I put decal (see photo) over scratch.

Sorry, but I was certain that mentioning a scratch on a windshield and then posting a huge picture of a large "Wheels Of Fire" sticker...stuck to a windshield was just about as subtle as seeing a pig walking around wearing a silk necktie with a tulip stuck in its rear.

Sorry. I thought it was just a pic of the windshield with a sticker.

You don't Really Know how big that is on a Kindle do you? I Tried to figure out what it is, I did, but until you Told me, I was just trying to figure out what the lines made..

And, BTW,Duuude, I think it's kinda uncool to be dressing your pig the same way I dress mine.
How did you teach yours to hold still for the makeup?
After the fifth tazer shot, I can just make a Bzzzt sound and my pig freezes.
