LANCER, where these stave 3 cams a one time product, or are they still available? I ask because of this being an old post
Is any head mods neaded? is it too much cam for a stock displacement engine? I am pondering a build project maybe this coming winter.

Nothing is required on the engine if you want to install a Stage 3 Camshaft. No head work is needed unless you just want to; you use the stock valve springs; valve adjustment settings is within stock specs; stock rockers can be used as long as there is no noticeable wear but if they are flattened at all they should be replaced. When I had the first Stage 1 Cam made it was installed with nothing being done...just dropped it in. Worked great.
