I just heard Arizona has 600,000 early mail-in votes yet to be counted. 50,000 from my area,.. and I voted early. Here's the rub... They can't be counted until the signature on the envelope is verified against the signature they have on file... What file?????..... Do you remember how you signed your name when you registered to vote?... I don't... but I know it has seriously deteriorated over the years... All these years of signing those plastic screens with a dull plastic pen at the bank and the checkout have rendered my signature to an illegible scrawl... I think I might recognize it, but no one else would... I know it don't matter at this point in this election,... but ain't it scary to think?... Who's deciding if my scrawl matches my signature?... Will you know if your vote is discarded?... I know it don't matter... but there will, hopefully, be another election in 4 years... Do you wonder?... :-?... |

The teller even got the bank manager who checked my ID against the name on the account, pulled the signature card to verify my signature, etc. 30 minutes later I deposited MY paycheck into MY account in a bank that I had been using for over 30 years. I've heard of being careful and double checking, but that was ridiculous! My signature changes every time I sign it! |

Probably the same idiot who couldn't decipher which candidate the hanging chad indicated. The blunt plastic stylus on the off kilter , shaking screen really doesn't encourage people to pay attention to the penmanship. My pigeon has Parkinsons. |
