Also, if you're over 5'-2"... and extra 1' in seat height ain't a bad thing... :-? Mine is raised 2" in the front... I also spacered the tank 1" for looks... |

Title: Re: Seat lift mod . Post by Steve H on 10/21/16 at 12:57:36 The seat lift was one of the first things I did to mine. The frame is just so danged small. It still feels tiny. But not quite as cramped and I really hate constantly sliding into the tank. Makes your nuts go to sleep. It's also quite cold if you ride in the winter. I wish it were that easy to fix the same problem on the little Ninja. |

Maybe build up the front of it a little so that the front part of the seat is more of a cradle than a slope. That way you could still meet with the tank, just a little higher up but have an easier sitting position. |

Title: Re: Seat lift mod . Post by Drestakil on 10/23/16 at 06:13:44 I don't think the seat mod is as important on the S40 as it is on the two-piece Savage seat. I did end up building my S40 seat up using rigid foam, a grinder, and a heat gun to give myself more leg room. |
