Clinics around the world are destroying an old, problematic polio vaccine in favor of a new oral one, in an unprecedented effort that has never before been attempted.

The problem with the old vaccine? It was causing polio. Oops.

The massive global eradication effort takes place within the next few weeks at thousands of sites in 155 different countries, and requires a complete destruction of every single vial of the vaccine for the worldwide plan to work.

I think I actually wrote a paper that mentioned the Indian GMO suicides. :o I think it was for Business Ethics maybe... It was probably some mini case study on Monsanto. It's been a year ago I think.

When you go from seed that can be saved year after year cheaply and worry free to the situation where you can't get anything but expensive seed that can't be legally reproduced (if at all), it tends to make you rather unhappy. :(

When you said polio vaccine caused polio, it didn't make sense until I read that it was this new vaccine that was the problem, not the old-timey vaccine.

Looks like Bill Gates is gonna have a load of flak on his plate.

Or.... did the vaccine of the old timers cause polio too? This is a little confusing. Are we better off with polio... or polio. :-/ ;D ::)

Aren't we in better shape than a century ago? :-/
