i cannot stand the stock savage bars so today i made new ones. here are pics of the process. let me know what you think

started with some pieces of 12 ga steel to make some gussets

gussets are cleaned up and i chamfered the holes, and i made sollid slugs of 3/4" solid round bar to go inside the bars for added strength.

I used 1'' .120 wall DOM tubing.

welded and cleaned up, i am going to polish them tomorrow and powder coat them next week

looks like it will be a while before i can get these powder coated at my shop so i put them on raw.

this is the powder i will be using on most of what i fab for this bike. pics do not do it justice, it has blues, greens, and yellows along with candy flake.
