Title: Re: oil circulation Post by Dave on 09/03/14 at 03:30:34 There is oil pumped through the crankshaft to the connecting rod journal. When that oil comes out of the connecting rod.....it is thrown all over the place......including the bottom of the piston and the cylinder wall. |
Title: Re: oil circulation Post by Jsud04 on 09/03/14 at 03:49:53 Ah, I see. So I flushed the case with diesel fuel and am in the processes of making sure all ports and journals are clear. Any ideas on where to blow air for testing that one? |
Title: Re: oil circulation Post by Dave on 09/03/14 at 12:41:38 The oil to the crank journal is provided by the little hole at the end of the crank on the right (clutch) side. Here is the schematic. http://suzukisavage.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?board=tech;action=display;num=1151246239 |
