Title: kerosene flush Post by Jsud04 on 08/19/14 at 06:49:33 While in have my head and jug off I am considering flushing the case with kerosene... I some home got a piece of broken drill bit down in there, got it out, but as a precaution I thought a flush may be in order? Center gasket issues? |

Title: Re: kerosene flush Post by Dave on 08/19/14 at 08:31:32 Before you do any flushing - install a bolt in the front bottom engine mount hole and tighten it down. Often when you remove that bolt the engine will seep oil, then stop when you put the bolt back in and tighten it up. You don't want kerosene or diesel fuel washing the sealant out of that seam.
